What You'll Need
• 1 ripe banana (depends on which one you get, but it has to be at least 1/2 a ripe banana)
• 1 cup of self-rising flour
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup of chilled butter, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (plus more if desired)
• 1/2 cup of boiling water
• 1-1/4 cup of powdered sugar, sifted (plus more, if desired)
I cut each banana in half, so I have four small pieces to put in the batter. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor (or pulse a few times if you don't have one) and puree until smooth. Scrape the mixture into a large mixing bowl.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
How to Prepare the Ingredients
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2. Put the walnuts in a small bowl and toss with your hands to coat in flour.

How to Make the Loaf

2. Grease a loaf pan. This recipe makes a 9-inch loaf, so you'll need a large loaf pan.
3. Add the flour and baking soda to the bowl with the wet ingredients and stir to combine. Fold in the nuts, and then pour in the batter.
4. Turn the oven onto a baking sheet, and place the loaf pan inside the oven.

3. In a separate, smaller bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla, and banana. Add to dry ingredients and whisk until well-combined.
4. Stir in walnuts.
5. Grease your 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with cooking oil spray and pour batter into pan.
6. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack to cool completely.

2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, and walnuts.
